"Surigao, boto pagdajao. Konsyensya sunda, dili an kwarta. Kaugmaon huna-hunaon.
Karajawan nan tanan an palabwon."

It's the statement that UPMK associations (UPMK Alumni and UPMK Students) sent thru
SMS (txt) campaign and printed in three streamers. The three streamers were placed in
strategic places (City Arcade, City Park and City Integrated Terminal).
Clearly, the statement is non-partisan. But, on Election Day, supporters of one political party prevented the placement of our streamer in front of Surigao Norte National High School.
Hmmmn...why were they afraid of the statement?

Zimm,
You're welcome to join UPMK. Our fellow Pidjanga, Prof. Peter Sy, is the group's adviser.
You can help us a lot in campaigning for Surigaonons to study in UP Diliman. FYI, the UP Diliman administration encouraged the group to help increase the number of Surigaonons in the campus. They said the number of students from Surigao del Norte is among the least.
